NORTH CARLOINA- A woman was arrested on drug charges after a child showed up to school with 260 grams of cocaine last week, according to police.
The 260 grams of cocaine were found inside of the child’s book bag last Tuesday by a resource officer at the child’s Elementary school, according to the Craven County Sheriff’s Office.
Police said the discovery led them to them to arrest Sharae Becton, 27.
Becton has been charged with trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine and child abuse.
It’s unknown what the relationship was between Becton and the unidentified child, police say.
