TENNESEE- A woman has been charged after she allegedly sold her car to a 13-year-old boy who was involved in a fatal car accident.
Police say that Katrina Russell, 37, sold her Dodge Dart to a 13-year-old boy who ran a red light, lost control of the car and crashed into another vehicle, killing David Cheatham, 71.
The teen brought the Dodge from Russell for $80, police say.
Russell, who’s homeless, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with vehicular homicide by recklessness and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The unidentified teen was charged in Juvenile Court with vehicular homicide by recklessness, driving without a license and no proof of insurance, according to a statement released by police.
