Woman charged after striking 2 black protesters with car

NORTH CAROLINA- A woman has been charged with hitting two black protestors with her car during a march against the police for the death of a black man.

41-year-old Lisa O’Quinn is now facing two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill by the use of a motor vehicle and other charges, police say.

O’Quinn may also be charged with a hate crime.

The two women were treated for their injuries at a Hospital and luckily survived. They were part of a small march on Monday that was against police for the fatal shooting Andrew Brown, who was unarmed.
