ORANGEBURG, SC- A woman faces several charges after killing one college student and injuring another.
According to WCSC, Amber Marie Green, 25, has been charged with murder, assault, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and battery of a high and aggravated nature and discharging a firearm in the city limits.
Police say that Green opened fire into a crowd of people, killing 20-year-old Donovan Smalls when she was struck in the head.
Smalls was a Benedict college student.
A police incident report also states that a second victim, a 21-year-old female who was also a college student was shot in her chest. She received treatment and so far it looks like she’s not suffering life threatening injuries.
