WASHINGTON, D.C.- A woman fell 8 stories out of a window Thursday evening and survived, according to Metropolitan Police.
Police were called to the building, and when they arrived at the scene, the woman was found conscious with a “rope or some type of item” tied around her legs, reports the New York Post.
The woman was taken to a hospital where she was placed in critical condition.
An unidentified man was arrested after returning to the scene and providing incriminating information. Police believe the man was involved in a domestic dispute with the victim.
There is an ongoing investigation.
