BRONX- Police have identified the remains of a woman, whose body was found in a Bronx alley and her family is asking for the public’s help.
The decomposing body of a woman found behind a building this past summer in the Longwood section of the Bronx were identified on Tuesday as Rachel Lopez, 47.
Lopez’ body was found a mile away from her home. Her family says they reported her missing in July.
Police believe that Lopez was murdered, but there are person of interest, no suspects, witnesses or a motive.
The family has set up a GoFundMe for Lopez.
