NEW ORLEANS- A woman shot and killed her boyfriend in front of a Walmart on Valentine’s Day according to police.
Alexis King, 20, was charged with second-degree murder after allegedly fatally shooting her boyfriend and her son’s father.
According to the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office, the victim was found with a single gunshot wound in a parking lot at the entrance of a Walmart. He was taken to a Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The victim had worked at the Walmart.
King was later identified as a suspect. Police say that she admitted to the shooting once in custody.
It’s unclear what caused the shooting.
