LOS ANGELES – A homeless woman killed a music producer in an alleged armed robbery, police said.
Kayla Delise Mackie, 27, was charged with murder Tuesday after she allegedly shot and killed William James III, 46, who was found in “grave condition” while sitting inside of his parked car on a Santa Monica Street.
The producer, who worked with artists such Travis Scott and Lil Cobaine was rushed to a hospital where he pronounced dead short after.
Mackie, described by police as living on the streets, was arrested the following day.
Edwards leaves behind a wife and two children.
Mackie was also charged with armed robbery and attempted homicide.
