PENNSYLVANIA- Sara Packer, 44, took the stand on Wednesday during her ex-boyfriends court hearing as part of a plea deal .

Packer told the stand during Jacob Sullivan’s hearing, and admitted that she indeed played a huge role in her adopted daughter’s death by allowing her then boyfriend to torture and kill 14-year-old Grace Parker.

Sarah admitted that she took part with Sullivan in giving her daughter over the counter pills to make her overdose, and when that didn’t work, the couple stuffed a bag in the girls mouth as she was hogtied in an overheated attic. She continued to admit that she watched Sullivan sexually assault Grace and when she looked to her for help, she grabbed her hand and told her “OK to go.”

The couple then left Grace to die, but when they returned 12 hours later, she had spit the bag out of her mouth and had freed herself from some of the ties. Packer says it was then that Sullivan strangled Grace to death.

The couple then put Grace’s body in cat litter, where she was kept for months before Sullivan and Packer dismembered her body and dumped her in a remote area. Grace’s body was later found by hunters in October of 2006.

Packer told the court, “She just didn’t exist anymore. I wanted her to go away.”

According to WKBN, Packer told the court that not only did she hate her daughter but she shared a rape-murder fantasy with Sullivan.

Sarah Packer and her then husband David Packer had fostered dozens of children, adopting Grace and her younger brother Josh. David Packer was sent to prison for sexually assaulting Grace and another girl in their care. Sarah lost her job as a adoptions supervisor but Grace was never removed from her care despite child protective services knowing that she was abused.

Sara Packer has agreed to plead guilty to first-degree murder and in exchange, she will receive a life sentence. As for Jacob Sullivan, he pleaded guilty to first-degree murder, rape and other charges. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for him.
