Woman Steals Truck From Man During First Date, Goes On High-Speed Chase With Police

GEORGIA- A woman is accused of stealing a man’s truck as they were on their first date and leading police on a chase, police say.

Police say the woman, 37-year-old Jenifer Lee Gray, met the victim on the “Plenty Of Fish” dating app, according to WSB-TV.

The man arranged for an Uber to pick Gray up from a hotel on Thursday night and bring her back to his home for their first date. As the man was using the bathroom, she snuck out, got into his truck and drove off from the driveway, the news station reports.

He called 911 to report the vehicle stolen.

An officer who was heading to the location of the incident, spotted the stolen vehicle, and was able to catch up to the truck, but Gray refused to pull over, going over 100mph, according to Fox News.

Police were able to stop her using “stop sticks”.

Gray was taken to a hospital, and then booked into jail on charges of theft by taking and fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer.
