MIAMI- A woman is accused of stealing $200,000 worth of luxury watches from a man she met at a venue, reports CBS Miami.
Police say the victim told them that he met the woman named Cynthia at a venue and decided to bring her to his apartment around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, according to the news station.
The alleged victim told police that he fell asleep and upon awakening, he discovered that his high-end watches were gone and the woman.
The woman was caught on surveillance footage entering an elevator around 10:30 a.m. in the victim’s apartment building and leaving in a ride-share, police said.
There have been arrests.
