Woman Who Attacked Chipotle Worker Ordered To Work 2 Months In Fast Food

OHIO – A woman who attacked a Chipotle worker has been sentenced to a month in jail and ordered to work in fast food for two months.

Rosemary Hayne was caught on cell phone footage throwing food at the face of employee Emily Russell on Sept. 5.

Hayne, 39, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault charge, and was sentenced by a judge to serve 180 days in jail at a hearing last week, CNN reported.

The judge gave Hayne the option to instead spend 30 days in jail and work the remainder of her 60 days of sentencing at a fast-food restaurant. She must also work at least 20 hours a week at whichever fast-food restaurant hires her.

Russell, 26, was working at the Chipotle for over four years but said she quit a month after the attack due to a lack of support from the company.
