NEW JERSEY- WWE star Sonya Deville was arrested on a gun possession charge, police said.
Deville, whose real name is Daria Berenato, was arrested at the Borgata Hotel, Casino and Spa in Atlantic City after a valet employee allegedly discovered a handgun in a vehicle that was parked, according to Fightful.
Officers who responded said they found the owner of the vehicle, Daria Berenato, on the scene and she was cooperating with security, police said, according to Fox News Digital.
Police said “Bernato admitted to being the owner of the handgun and provided responding officers a permit to carry from out of state that is not valid in New Jersey.”
She was taken into custody without incident and later released on a summons and must appear at a future court date.
Bernato lives in Florida.
