GEORGIA- Rappers Young Thug And Gunna along with 28 other members of the record label YSL are facing federal charges.
Both rappers were among 28 YSL members that were charged in a 56-count indictment in Fulton County, according to Michael Seiden from WSBTV.
Young Thug was arrested and booked into Fulton County Jail, but it’s unknown if Gunna or if any other members were also arrested.
The charges against YSL have been characterized as a “criminal street gang” and include murder, armed robbery, Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and participation in criminal street gang activity.
Young Thug is accused of commissioning the use of a 2014 Infiniti Sedan that he rented from Hertz which was used in the 2015 murder Donovan Thomas Jr, according to Seiden.
Two YSL associates, Antonio Sumlin and Donovan Thomas are accused of asking Thug for permission to make a second murder attempt on YFN Lucci while he was in Fulton County Jail.
Gunna is facing one count of conspiracy to violate (RICO).
