Young Thug’s Brother Accepts Plea Deal, Not Allowed To Have Contact With Brother

ATLANTA- Rapper Young Thug’s brother has accepted a plea deal in an indictment against the rapper and over two dozen others.

Fulton County court records state that Quantavious Grier pleaded guilty to one count of violating the RICO Act and one count of theft by receiving stolen property, according to WSB-TV.

Grier, a rapper known as UNFOONK, accepted a 12 sentence with two years commuted to time served and 10 years of probation.

He must meet conditions as part of his probation. He has been ordered to not have any contact with his brother Young Thug and other defendants until the case is over.

Grier must also perform 750 hours of community service, abide by a 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew and can’t have possession of a gun, reports WSB-TV.

If Grier is called to testify by any party, the deal states that he must testify but also has the Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination.

Grier is one of five co-defendants that have accepted a plea deal. Rapper Guna was recently released from jail after accepting a plea deal.

Gunna agreed to an Alford plea, in which a defendant doesn’t admit that he committed the crime but acknowledges that it is in his best interest to plead guilty.

Walter Murphy, Winnie Lee (Slimelife Shawty) and Martinez Arnold (aka Duke) also accepted plea deals. There are now 23 defendants.

Trial begins in Jan.
