ATLANTA- Young Thug’s brother was facing a judge Monday morning after violating terms of his YSL plea deal.
Quantavious Grier, 34, known as UNFOONK, is accused of violating the terms of his YSL plea deal after he was arrested on May 4 on charges of possessing a firearm by a convicted felon, persons associated with a criminal street gang to participate in illegal activity and minor offenses, WSB-TV reports.
Grier pleaded guilty in December to one count of theft be receiving stolen property.
As part of his plea deal, Grier was given a 12-year sentence with two years commuted to time served and 10 years’ probation.
The rapper was pulled over by police officers after they were conducting surveillance and allegedly spotted a black Mercedes G-Wagon in a parking park at a BP gas station and assumed there was a possible drug deal.
Officers pulled the SUV over, citing tinted windows and an officer stated there was a smell of marijuana.
Police also said they also allegedly recovered a 9mm Glock.
An investigator in the arrest case said he had been investigating UNFOONK and YSL since 2009.
