GEORGIA- A youthful coach has been charged after he was caught on video hitting one of his players.
The coach in the viral video that has over 4 million views on Twitter, has been identified as Gerrel Williams.
In the disturbing video, Williams can be seen hitting the child after he returns from the field, and then punching him so hard on his head that the boy falls to the ground.
No room in the game for coaches like this. I hope he is arrested and banned for life. https://t.co/1B0F2cLiqH

Williams’ team from Georgia was in Florida for the American Youth Football national championships. He was coaching a team of kids 7 and under.
Williams has lost his job back in Savannah, he’s been expelled from the league and from attending future games.
According to WJCL, the disgraceful coach said “I was wrong”, “There is no excuse for my actions. He forgives me and his parents have forgiven me, so nobody else should be bashing me.”
Sad, but true, the boy’s mother didn’t want to press charges against Williams for abusing her son, so police in Florida decided to do so.
