8 Students Arrested Over The Brutal Beating Death Of Las Vegas Student

LAS VEGAS – Eight high school students have been arrested following the brutal murder of a classmate, police announced on Tuesday.

Johnathan Lewis Jr. was beaten by a mob of 13 students in an alley across the street from Rancho High School on Nov. 1, police said. He sustained “non-survivable head trauma” and died on Tuesday from his injuries.

His death was ruled a homicide by the coroner’s office.

The ages of the eight students who were arrested, range from between 13 and 17. They have all been arrested on suspicion of murder and are facing murder classes.
