Comedian Gabriel Iglesias cancels show after testing positive for COVID-19

LOS ANGELES- Comedian Gabriel Iglesias has canceled some of his stand-up shows after testing positive for COVID-19.

Iglesias posted a video on Instagram, saying he’s suffering from body aches, chills and has lost he sense of smell and taste.

He canceled six shows at the Tobin Center in San Antonio.

The comedian says he got tested twice and both came back positive for the virus.

Iglesias was vaccinated, but as you can see it didn’t prevent him from contracting the virus. He says he will return to his shows when he receives three negative tests.

Iglesias is the voice of Speedy Gonzales in the “Space Jam” reboot, which hits movie theaters Friday.
