Demi Lovato “devastated” over friend who died from drug addiction

Singer Demi Lovato’s close friend died on Wednesday from drug addiction, and the singer has a message about the struggle.

The 27-year-old singer took to her Instagram to post photos of her friend Thomas with messages about about addiction.

Under her late friend’s photo, Demi wrote “Devastated. Please hold your loved ones tight. Tell them they are special and that you love them,” she wrote underneath a black-and-white photo of Thomas. “Make sure they know it. RIP to my boo @sirtruss 🖤🖤🖤.”

She then put another photo up of her late friend with a message that urged those are suffering from addiction to seek help. She wrote “Addiction is NO joke,” heaven gained this beautiful angel last night because of that terrible disease. I’m crushed and will always miss you @sirtruss. If you or someone you know is struggling please know it’s okay to ask for help.”
