Singer Erykah Badu defended R.Kelly at her show and fans didn’t want to hear it.
Badu was performing at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, when she began defending R.Kelly during her show, who has come under a lot of heat once again, this time for the docu-series ‘Surviving R.kelly” where he was once accused by multiple women of sexual abuse.
According to a concertgoer, Badu said “What if one of the people who was assaulted by R Kelly becomes an offender? We gonna crucify them too?”
Badu also took tweeted “I love you. Unconditionally. That doesn’t mean I support your poor choices. I want healing for you and anyone you have hurt as a result of you being hurt. Is that strange to you ? That’s all I’ve ever said. Anything else has been fabricated or taken out of context. – eb.”
