LOS ANGELES- An inmate at a California prison has tested positive for the Coronavirus.
This makes him the first inmate in the state to test positive for the deadly virus.
The inmate tested positive on March 22. He’s been isolated since March 19 after he began complaining about being sick.
According to the California Dept of Corrections and Rehabilitation, along with the California Correctional Health Care Services, the male inmate is currently in stable condition.
There is also an investigation taking place to see who came in contact with the inmate.
