Hot Boys Rapper B.G. Arrested After Violating Probation, May Return To Prison

LAS VEGAS – Hot Boys rapper B.G. was arrested for violating his probation, according to reports.

The rapper, whose real name is Christopher Dosey, was arrested earlier this month in Las Vegas for a series of probation violations, which included performing with rapper Boosie at a concert back in February.

B.G.’s probation officer said the rapper violated his probation for two reasons. First, he did not “obtain prior written approval… before entering self-employment” before performing at the concert. Secondly, because Boosie was in prison himself for being a felon, and it was a violation of a federal supervised release statute that prevents parolees from “associating unnecessary with” convicted felons.”

An arrest warrant for the New Orleans rapper was filed on March 21. He was placed in custody and was released on his own recognizance.

He was also ordered to appear in federal court in New Orleans, where he was initially charged and convicted, where the judge will determine if his probation violations merit a revocation and if he will return to prison.
