Faye Marie Swetlik’s murder linked to neighbor whose body was also found

SOUTH CAROLINA- Authorities say they now have enough evidence that proves Faye Marie Swetlik’s neighbor is responsible for her death.

According to WJBY, Coty Scott Taylor’s trash leads police to believe that he may have killed her.

His body was found next to Swetlik’s, who went missing as she had just returned back from school last Monday, and was playing on her lawn. Her body was found 3 days later.

Authorities say that Taylor was just a neighbor, not a family member or friend of the girl.

Both Taylor and Swetlik’s bodies were found in a wooded area.

Autopsies were conducted for both of them on Saturday.
