Juice WRLD’s funeral held in Chicago; fans hold a memorial
CHICAGO- Rapper Juice WRLD’s funeral was held in his hometown of Chicago on Friday at the Holy Temple Cathedral Church of God in Christ.
The 21-year-old rapper whose real name is Jarad Higgins died last Sunday after suffering from cardiac arrest in Chicago’s Midway Airport. Authorities believe that he took a large amount of opiates in order to avoid getting caught by the FEDS.
He was given Narcan, but later died. He had just turned 21 a few days before..
The funeral was private.
Fans held their own memorial in downtown Chicago.
I still can’t believe he’s gone..It’s just so unreal.
His autopsy was conducted last week, and the medical examiner says the cause of his death and manner was inconclusive, so more test would be done.
