Man charged for fatally shooting pregnant ex-girlfriend

NEW JERSEY- A man has been arrested, and charged with murder in the death of his unborn baby’s mother.

30-year-old Donqua Thomas, was charged on Saturday with murder according to authorities in New Jersey.

Prosecutors say that Thomas parked his vehicle near the apartment complex on Thursday, of 31-year-old Remy Lee, who was 8 months pregnant with Thomas’ son and waited almost 2 hours until she came home.

When the victim got out of her vehicle, Thomas shot her several times, after an argument and fled the scene.

Lee delivered her baby at a Hospital, but later died from her gunshot wounds. The baby boy is in stable condition.

Lee left behind two other children, and according to CBS, her daughter witnessed her shooting.

Thomas turned himself in to police on Saturday, and is facing murder and gun charges.
