Man steals $500k worth of jewelry from ex-NBA player Allen Iverson
PHILADELPHIA- A man took off with ex-NBA player, Allen Iverson’s backpack that contained $500k in jewelry.
Yikes.
According to WPVI, the unidentified suspect took Iverson’s backpack from the lobby of the Sofitel Hotel early Monday. He was obviously caught on surveillance video.
Iverson wasn’t there when the smooth criminal stole the backpack, and it’s unclear why he was at the Hotel.
Police are investigating, and have a photo of the of the suspect.
The suspect is described as a 20-year-old black male, about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a red shirt, dark jacket, pants, shirt and black and white sneakers.
