QUEENS, NY- Police have made an arrest after the attempted abduction of a boy in Queens on Thursday.
24-year-old James McGonagle was charged with attempted kidnapping, acting in a manner injurious to a child and reckless endangerment.
The unthinkable incident happened on Thursday around 8:45 p.m. when a maroon sedan pulled alongside the mother and her three kids.
A man jumped out of the driver’s seat, ran up to the woman’s son and grabbed him before shoving him into the back seat of the car as another male sat in the passengers seat.
The brave mother grabbed her son from the back seat window and was able to save him before the unknown men fled the scene.
The shocking video shows three male bystanders in shock, with one kicking the sedan in the middle of the street as it drove away.
