UTAH – Rapper NBA YoungBoy will remain in federal custody until his next court date, according to a report.
The New Orleans raper, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, is accused of running a large-scale drug prescription fraud ring in Utah.
He was arrested at his Utah home on April 16.
YoungBoy is facing 46 charges in Utah, which include unlawful conduct-pharmacy practices, unlawful activity, identity and forgery.
A hearing was initially set for April 29, but two of his lawyers asked that his preliminary and detention hearing be rescheduled. The hearing was moved to Thursday, May 9, according to WGMB Baton Rouge.
