Nicki Minaj’s husband pleads guilty for failing to register as sex offender
CALIFORNIA- Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, pleaded guilty to failure to register as a sex offender in California via a virtual hearing on Thursday, reports Page Six.
Petty’s guilty plea is part of a plea deal that he signed with the assistant United States Attorney in August, despite him initially pleading not guilty.
Petty is facing up to 10 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release.
He’s due back in court on Jan. 24, 2022 for his sentencing.
Petty was arrested in 2020 after he failed to register as a sex offender in California in Nov. of 2019.
