BRONX, NY- The NYPD have identified the man seen a disturbing video, which shows him physically abusing his two sons on a subway platform.
Authorities haven’t released the 35-year-old man’s name, but say he’s from Manhattan, and is the father of the two boys.
The boys, ages 7 and 9, reside with both of their mother’s, authorities learned.
The man was arrested on Saturday in Manhattan for two seperate domestic abuse charges, including allegedly hitting one of his sons with a belt.
He was released from jail on Wednesday.
In the disturbing video that has gone viral, the man can be seen on the Fordham subway station, grabbing his son by his hair and punching his other with a closed fist as bystanders walked by.
