Rapper Hotboii arrested for alleged gang violence after FBI investigation
ORLANDO- Rapper Hotboii has been arrested after he turned himself in to police on Thursday.
The rapper, whose real name is Javarri Latre Walker, is an alleged member of “438 gang”. Investigators say that the gang has been feuding with the “Army Gang”, which has resulted in many deaths and shootings.
“The ongoing feud that has been going back and forth between these gangs has been responsible for over 30 shootings and several homicides in a number of our jurisdictions,” Orange County Sheriff John Mina said in a release earlier this month.
Both feuding gangs are allegedly responsible for over 30 shootings, including several homicides, according to Mina.
Walker, along with rapper 9lokkNine and 32 others face charges in an investigation called Operation X-Force that involves the FBI, the Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation.
Investigators say 4 people were killed as they were caught in the crossfire of shootings, which included Orlando City Commissioner Regina Hill’s 16-year-old niece, Tavyiah King.
Walker face charged of racketeering and conspiracy to commit racketeering.
