XXXTentacion’s brother sues rapper’s mother
FLORIDA- XXXTentacion’s brother is suing the rapper’s mother, claiming she has been fraudulently transferring millions of dollars from XXXs’ estate.
Broward County court records show that Corey Pack, XXXTentacion’s brother, filed a complaint last week against the rapper’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, according to NBC Miami.
The complaint claims that Bernard, who’s in control of XXXtentacion’s estate and record label, created holding and other companies and transferred money into them from the estate.
According to NBC Miami, Pack’s lawyer, Robert Stok said Thursday “fraudulent transfer complaint seeks to recover assets being transferred from the probate estate by XXX’s mother, Cleo Bernard, in order to deprive our client Corey Pack, of a recovery, if he’s successful in his efforts to secure his inheritance rights either under his late brother’s trust or will.”
Pack and another brother of XXXTentacion both share a 25% in the estate and Bernard has a 50% interest, the complaint claims.
Rapper XXXTentacion, whose real name is Jahseh Onfroy, was shot and killed in 2018 in what was an attempted robbery in Miami. He was 20-years-old.
XXXTentacion’s posthumous album reached No. 1 in 2018.
