VIRGINIA- A man was brutally beaten on Thursday by his one of his family members, who caught him molesting his children.
The father, whose identity is being withheld, says he that when he decided to check up on his children, ages 2 and 3 on early Sunday, he found 60-year-old Mark Stanley naked from the “waist down” in their bedroom.
According to police, the father asked Stanley what was going on, and he said that’s when he was pushed out of the room, with Stanley locking himself inside. The father told police, he then broke into the room and began beating on Stanley.
The father was found holding a handgun when police arrived, and Stanley has numerous injuries to his face.
Stanley has been arrested and charged with two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and assault. He could also be facing more charges.
The father of the victims wasn’t charged.
