NBA player Kawhi Leonard’s sister charged with murder for killing 84-year-old woman

California- NBA star Kawhi Leonard’s sister has been charged with murder.

35-year-old Kimesha Williams, who’s Kawhi’s sister, along with 39-year-old Candace Townsel have been charged with murder and robbery according to the Press-Enterprise newspaper.

Williams, Townsel robbed and beat an 84-year-old woman at a California casino so bad that she died.

Authorities say that both women beat Afaf Anis Assad on Aug 31st, running off with her purse which had $1,200. The victim died 4 days later from her injuries.

Anis was found unconscious in the casino’s bathroom.

A family member did confirm that Williams is in fact Kawhi’s sister, but that “He didn’t have anything to do with this.”
