One of the women seen on video giving kids marijuana to smoke will spend one day in jail; here’s why

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C: Two women who were seen giving children marijuana to smoke on a video that they posted online, will only be serving 1 day in jail.

The women caused outrage as the children, whose ages ranged from 18 months to 3 years old were seen smoking a “blunt”.

A North Carolina judge found 18 year old Candice Little guilty of three counts of misdemeanor child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, but with time served and a partially suspended sentence, Little will only serve one day in jail.

As for the other woman, who was babysitting the toddlers with Little, 21 year old Michaela Pearson, pleaded guilty to the same charges and will be serving less than one year in jail.
