Rapper Chris King’s Alleged Killer Wanted By Police In Nashville

NASHVILLE – Police have identified the gunman who allegedly killed rapper Chris King this past weekend.

MNPD say they are looking for 19-year-old Adrian Cameron, for shooting and killing Christopher Cheeks outside of a recording studio in Nasville.

According to police, Cameron was out on bond for the 2021 murder of Josh Evans and was on an ankle monitor at the time of the deadly shooting.

The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday. Police found the rapper, whose real name is Christopher Cheeks, with gunshot wounds in a parking garage. He was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

King’s friend, a 29-year-old male was also shot and treated for injuries at a hospital. He is expected to live.

He told police that three men attempted to rob the rapper before shots were fired.

Chris King was close friends with rappers Trippie Redd, the late Juice WRLD and singer Justin Bieber.
