Women arrested for attacking Uber driver after refusing to wear mask

CALIFORNIA- A woman seen on video attacking an Uber driver, after refusing to wear a mask has been arrested and another woman is turning herself into police custody, authorities say.

Malaysia King, 24, was charged with assault and battery, conspiracy, violating health and safety code in the attack on Uber driver Subhakar Khadka, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

The attack took place on Sunday, and it was all caught on Khadka’s camera, which has now gone viral.

The video shows King, dressed in red, shouting at Khadka from the back of his car as her unmasked friend, identified as 24-year-old Arna Kimiai yelled profanity and attacked him, taking his phone.

The incident happened when the driver picked up all three women in San Francisco around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday.

Khadka asked the passengers to wear masks, but they refused.

Police say that Kimiai plans on turning herself in.
