‘Club Kid Killer’ Michael Alig dead from suspected overdose

NEW YORK CITY- ‘Club Kid Killer’ Michael Alig was found dead inside of his Manhattan apartment from an apparent drug overdose.

According to authorities, the 54-year-old infamous party promoter was found dead in his Washington Heights by his friend on Christmas Eve.

Police said they found a zip-lock bag containing heroin inside Alig’s apartment and drug paraphernalia.

Alig was released from prison in 2014, after serving 17 years for the murder of his friend, Angel Melendez, a well-known drug dealer in 1996.
