Diddy’s Lawyer Says DHS Raids Were ‘Excessive’ In Newly Released Statement

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lawyer has released a statement, after the music moguls two homes were raided by the DHS as part of a sex trafficking investigation.

Aaron Dyer, Combs’ attorney, maintained Combs’ innocence, saying the search conducted on his two properties was “a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences.”

“There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,” Dyer’s statement read. “Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor his family members have been arrested nor his ability to travel been restricted in any way.”

No charges have been filed against Combs at this time.

Both of his homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided amid an investigation after being accused by several women and men of sexual abuse and sex trafficking allegations.

He reportedly flew on his private jet to Antigua following the raids.
